Which lamp you use? ... Which lamp you use? depends on the product that you use, be sure to use the lamp that goes with the product line you are using especially when adding things in like glitter and foil! You can use acetone with foil check out the toe removal video. The alcohol mentioned is 99% pure isopropyl alcohol and is very different from the acetone. Look up rockstar V3 in my vids for the most current method for doing this!

@lorz56, you have ... @lorz56, you have to use the cnd shellac top coat for this to work properly but you don't buff the nails at all once its cured! base coat on, cure for 10 secs, put colour coat on, cure for 2 mins, while still tacky use a gel brush and with long quick strokes over the nail apply the glitter then put top coat on, cure for 2 mins then another coat of top coat, cure 2 mins and? then take the inhibition layer off with disperse, thats it and thats the way CND do it! not this way!
no idea why this ... no idea why this video is showing you to? do it this way when its completely wrong! i've just completed my rockstar nails course with cnd and they dont tip glitter all over the nail, its done using a gel brush! any nail tech thats qualified will not be doing it this way!! there would be glitter everywhere and its most definitely not how CND teach people to do it!!! totally wrong!!
I noticed you used ... I noticed you used a dark? Opaque glitter for the blue. Do you ever have a problem with them curing because it is so dark?

Hi, I love this ... Hi, I love this video however my finish does not seem as shiny and sparkly as your finish even though I am following all the steps, I am using CND base coat and a CND colour however I use a different top coat is this maybe where the problem lies? Also when I buff to make it smooth the glitter? seems to come off and fade and not stay sparkly. Any tips would be fab! xx

yes glitter from ... yes glitter from craft stores, I would suggest attending a Shellac? Attack at one of your local pro distributors to get more info on the lamp!

If this works with ... If this works with glitter, do you know if it will work with ANY kind or normal polish instead of the shellac polish colour, so what i mean is base coat, normal? polish (not shellac), shellac top coat!???? Have you tried it?
It comes off in 10 ... It comes off in 10 minutes just like the Shellac alone would do. I have found the easiest removal to be wrapping the big toe with a wrap if it is sizable for it and the rest ll together by lying one piece of foil down, then cotton balls soaked in acetone on each toe and wrapping the foil over them all together. If a wrap will not fit around the big toe it? just goes in with the others.
Love this. I was ... Love this. I was wondering about using glitter with the shellacs, specifically if it would be applied right over the base or a coat of shellac polish. Thank you for the very specific video, even including the 2 coats of top and all the tips. One question though, do you remove this using the wraps (on big toe-and wrap around method on the others) ? Is this difficult to remove like regular glitter polish is? I have not tried glitter with shellac yet.? Thanks.
I have not tried ... I have not tried that yet, I wonder if you cured the last layer of color you plan to use then pressed the foil into it and then applied top coat and cured if it? would work. Let me know!
